On his phone all day, everyday, no idea who he's talking to (his mother?!), or what his phone bills are like. Literally glued to if. Royal mail would remove his licence if they saw this. Non-existent customer service. A shop in decline, total mess. Go to the one in New St now or WHS Kings Heath/Moseley.

I don’t usually write reviews for Post Offices, because you generally know what to expect: a simple, straightforward service to get parcels sent, buy stamps, or handle bills. Nothing fancy, nothing extra, just the basics done properly. Unfortunately, this particular branch doesn’t even manage that, and I left feeling pretty frustrated.
From the moment you walk in, the place feels unwelcoming. The shop itself is disorganised, with shelves and counters looking cluttered and untidy, as if no one really cares about keeping it in order. There’s no clear system or flow, so you’re never quite sure where to stand or who’s being served. It creates this stressful, chaotic atmosphere when all you want is a quick, simple transaction.
The service is another big let-down. Staff seem uninterested and unmotivated, giving the impression that customers are more of a nuisance than anything else. It’s not about expecting over-the-top friendliness just the basic courtesy of being acknowledged, spoken to politely, and served efficiently. Instead, the whole interaction feels rushed or dismissive, with little effort to actually help.
What’s so disappointing is that this shop has real potential. The location is convenient, and as a Post Office it provides services that so many people rely on. With a bit of pride, organisation, and care for both the environment and the customers, it could easily be a place people don’t mind visiting. Sadly, as it stands, it feels like the bare minimum is being done, and even that isn’t done particularly well.
In short, this is not a pleasant place to visit. Disorganised, poor service, and lacking any sense of pride or passion in what they do. I really hope it improves, because the community deserves better.
